Re: Where can you find the original specs from a stock 1970 c-10?
i'll try and find the number for you but you can call genral motors customer service and ask for a restoration packet and they will send you one for your truck. It has a lot of info, tire sizes, engine spec, dimensions and such.
takes a week or so to get and its nothing fancy but you cant complain cuz free. and neat to have. there was a thread on here a few months ago about it |

What tranny & engine? 350/350 usually had 3.08's.

Re: Where can you find the original specs from a stock 1970 c-10?
you have a 350, but what tranny is it?
Weight is supposed to be something like 3600 pounds I think, but I have yet to witness one on a scale that light, I've seen short wheel base rigs over 4000 pounds. |

Re: Where can you find the original specs from a stock 1970 c-10?
I have the 1970 restoration pack from GM with all the specs, very helpful.
According to what they sent me- The c10 LWB (models cs10934 and ce10934) have curb weights of 3605 and 3737 lbs respectively. As for gear ratios, depends on your engine. 3.07, 3.73 and 4.11 were the main ones available and a 3.54 was used for the 400 engine and ch465 4 speed and the new process 435cr 4 speed tranies. 250 and 292 sixes-- std was the 3.73 350 v8-- std was 3.07 307 v8-- std was either a 3.07 or 3.73 depending on your trany 400 v8-- std was 3.07 unless you had one of the tranies mentioned earlier.
