Is there any way to remove the quarter glass without destroying the seals? I want to replace my seals eventually, but only after it's painted. What's the best way to take the glass out and keep my seals re-usable for short term use? Or if I have to cut them, are there any alternatives to the insanely expensive repops?

if you are going to replace the seals later, why don't you just mask off the glass and paint it.

If you get any paint on the rubber, it won't matter since you'lll be replacing later.

See the thing is, I'm not taking them out to paint this time. I'm taking them out for another "repair," and paint will follow later. Since it's my driver I need to be able to put them beck in a semi-temp fashion.

Anyway, I cut them out now so I'm looking for a generic alternative seal for the interim. I'll post what I end up doing.

I got my rear glass seals from Paul's and they fit perfect. They were also quite a bit cheaper than some of the other places. Dave
