What did you get done? 04/22
I spent the weekend in Dallas watching my daughters team play volleyball. They finished the day with a win so they will be in the Gold division tomorrow. If the place in the top 3 they will qualify to play at the USAV Junior Olympics this Summer.
I did get a little bit truck related done. I dropped by Stoked Out Specialties to visit with Keith (N2billet) and Roger. I looked at all their latest projects, took a few pictures and talked a bit about my Blazer. Unfortunately I had to leave to get back in time for our first round of play. I'll post pictures later. What did you get done?

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
We took the 84 c10 down friday and hauled 2 loads of dirt to fill in a hole in the backyard. Then on sat. we loaded up the weedeater, and chainsaw and cleared seom weeds and brush on the property we are getting from my uncle.
Today, sunday, I went four wheeling in the mountains with my mom and her boyfriend again.

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
Took the firechicken home and pulled the seats and did some cleaning. Slaped my amp and sub back in it. I was going to chase the turn signal problem down but got a call from my brother and ran out to his place and helped him do the timing belt and water pump in his 95 626. Took 5 hours since he doesent have squat for tools but got it done. Sure does run better now since the timing belt isnt 3 teeth off anymore. Working without air tools sucks, working without any of the proper tools is freaking insane!!!!

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
I didn't see you @ the shop..... when was this 'suprise visit'?
I worked on my Beater. . ..... I finished my stainless lowering blocks & got them installed. I needed these in place so I could install the new 'long' panhard bar & mock-up its 'new' relocated mount. I removed the old Firestones to swap in the new Slams. I pulled the lower shock mounts back off to open up the mounting holes from 1/2" to the larger 9/16" hole for the Bilsteins. I played around w/the Blazer tank relocation too. I hopefully helped n2billet out by selling him the short fleet bedsides I had stashed away..... We also watched the Stars outlast the Canuuks for a play-off Game 7. Today I played around w/the Blazer tank relocation some more but got frustrated on how I was going to mount it in place vs. how it's supposed to be mounted. I posted a thread in the 67-72 section if anyone has any suggestions.

I spent the weekend at the annual Kool April Nights event in Redding CA. The cruise was great on Friday night but it rained for the entire show on Saturday. We still had a great time

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
We got some pretty awesome weather here, so I spend most of it out working on the cars - Saturday afternoon I was chasing a power management glitch in our '95 GTP's sunroof, turns out there was a cold solder connection in the circuit board. Saturday night I re-routed the hydro-boost return lines in my truck, old one was getting a bad kink right under the power steering pump, and now everything is much smoother. May redo them again when the fluid level drops down again (it does slowly, booster leaks a little upon release of the pedal), but for now they look okay.
Sunday noon I re-painted my car's rear fender from where I hit the carport's column Friday night while taking off like a bat outta hell. Early afternoon I spend re-attaching the GTP's front bumper (friend over a speed bump and hit it bad), then realized the damn sunroof still ain't working right so I spent the whole evening bypassing it - all the old electronics is now ripped out, the motor is directly powered from the switch through 12awg wires (stock is like 16, real tiny), and sunroof moves like nobody's business. Truck just got a clean-up of the bed couple of hours ago, still gotta wash it tho...

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
Worked a charity event Saturday evening/night and was able to watch Jay Leno live for 2 hours! Funny stuff. Since he wasn't on TV it was un-censored and very funny! I'm sure that some of the stiff shirts didn't find some of it funny though. LOL....
Sunday I was able to get my c-notch and flip kit installed. That was an all day project. Since I have no welding equipment I had to do the bolt in for now. I need to find someone that can weld! I will finish up the rear brakes tonight and get it onto the ground. Hopefully I will get some pictures tonight! I am hoping to finish getting this truck on the road by the end of the week.

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
My wife and I spent all day Friday and Saturday in the sun selling off my Dad's stuff at the New Braunfels Swap Meet. We were also there about a half day in the rain Sunday. I'm exhausted.
I had an endless stream of people asking if my truck was for sale (it isn't). I saw a '73 stepside SWB with a clean body. It looked like it might need cab corners, and it was marked $750 OBO. I don't know any details about it, but I was surprised that it took them until late Saturday to sell it. I really wanted it, but don't have the time, money, or space for it. Slonaker |

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
I got my 80's interior almost back together, gotta finish cleaning up one more kick panel, find myself either a wood-grain, or brushed aluminum A/C dash insert, and a carpet to finish it right off. Since today is finally nice out, I'll be pushing the truck outside to pull the TPI, so I can snap a few pictures then

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
got my truck in my name and went for a drive. Still has some issues but now i have tags and i can find them. one it virbration (u joint maybe it is the original on i think) other is a tranny leak (dip stick tube issues) last is over heating (didnt have enough water) any thing else is just a nickel and dime crap.
One last thing is the speedo gear cable is whining horray.

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
Saturday I installed a new water-pump on my 82' K5.
Since I had the front of the engine mostly apart I decided I should do some touch-up painting. Painted the alternator bracket, water-pump, power-steering pump/bracket, AC compressor.bracket. I kind of half-assed it by not taking the PS pump or AC compressor off the brackets but they look 100% better with fresh paint in the brackets and pulleys. I did spray about two cans of engine degreaser on the front and got rid of a bunch of built up fudge. I also pulled the carb off so I was able to paint the front all the way back to the distributor. Not show quality but pretty much everything you can see looks fresh.

Re: What did you get done? 04/22
Friday after work I stopped by the body shop and chatted about my 87 as far as body and paint is concerned. Then I went home, stripped the chrome trim off my sierra and detailed it.
Saturday we hit the turnpike at 7am heading to Tulsa for the Clash of the Titans street car shootout. Didn't get back home till 1:30am sunday morning. Sunday I woke up and headed across town to do a vinyl job on a boat. I think the trip to tulsa did the Transfer case in the sierra in though It makes some pretty horrible noise now.

I tinkered with my stereo in my Cavy for a little while. Cleaned my cavy out as well. Got some laundry and house chores done and that was about it!
