rear sway bar
I found this sway bar at my parents house, and I got it to fit my truck. Just had to drill holes in the trailing arms for the mounts, and bolted the other end to the oval holes in the frame. It hangs down kind of weird, but I think I will fix that later. Didnt have much time, did it in about 1 hour or less. Then drove it 2 1/2 hours today, and it felt good. What do yall think?

Actually I think it looks pretty good, sure it can be flatter and higher but hey, it's free
 Should make for some nice improvement in handling, that's for sure.

You know, looking at the pics flipping it may be just the right thing, but you gotta watch for clearance between the bar and the frame rails under full load at the axle.

I took the sway bar off this morning and painted it, then flipped it and put it back on. It looks alot better.

I really have no idea what it came from, just found it in a pile of parts in our barn. We have worked on many vehicles over the years. My brother did have about an 84 F 150, but I dont remember if it had one or not.

The bar looks like 7/8" diameter. The end links are 5 1/4" center hole to center hole. Measured across the bar from the outside of the links 35 3/4"
