Thanks for the input. It sounds like it should be ok to take it out for a little while. The plywood is de-laminating and is looks so bad I can't stand it, but not ready to put in hardwood yet.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
