Todays progress.. while I wait for my headers....
Wired up the HEI and electric choke on the Edelbrock , got the radiator , fan, new hoses, shroud all back on.... pieced together everything for the Alt. and put in new battery cables......next is clean the starter up and install it , get new fan belt and wait for the headers !!!!

detailed very nice.
I have to ask... is the fan all the way in the shroud? I can't see it in the photos... if it is in all the way, it can cause/agravate overheating... it should be 1/2 in 1/2 out |

Thanks for the heads up , yes it's all the way in... probably from being switched to a long neck water pump at sometime in it's life..... if I have probs. I'll have to get a shorter spacer....

you could get a 4X4 shroud... from what I've read on here, that'll put it right where you want it.

With a 4wd shroud,it will be in farther...won't it?The 4wd shroud goes farther back towards the motor.

Had a little time this morning so I was out messin around... pulled out the bench seat and what was left of the old rubber floor mat then set my buckets and shifter in that I got from Jim Pa .... I like !!!!!
