I wouldn't say that it could be easy....and still make it look good. First off you need to be somewhat experienced at cutting and welding sheetmetal. And then after that you'll need to shorten the wheelbase, which to be done right will require shortening the frame....cutting and welding again. Whenever a frame is welded, it really needs to be done by an experienced weldor. A failed weld on a frame could mean serious injury to you or others.

A few weeks ago on the 'Trucks' show they shortened a 8' bed to a 6' bed on IIRC a '66. They showed the right way to do this IMO, and it turned out nicely.
