Pics Requested for Fleetside w/o Rear Bumper
Hey,
I'm thinking of just removing my rear bumper on my 64 Fleetside and leaving it off. See as many pics as possible would be cool.. And let me know if you did anything to the rear like a cover or something.. Thanks, Elias |

Re: Pics Requested for Fleetside w/o Rear Bumper
I would recommend a roll pan, although i have not yet done one. I was planning on doing one since they are cheaper to buy then getting a chrome bumper and the bolt up hardware. Mine at the moment has nothing back there, but its up against the garage wall and it doesnt run, so sry, i got no pics......

Re: Pics Requested for Fleetside w/o Rear Bumper
My brother's 64 with no bumper, and a nice 62 with a roll pan. I'd go for the pan...

Very Cool... I'm liking the Roll Pan...
I think I'll take off the bumper until I can afford a roll pan... Elias |

Re: Pics Requested for Fleetside w/o Rear Bumper
WOW.. I'm surprised that this thread came back to life. I've been out of the loop for a few months because I couldn't afford to drive my truck at 10mpg.
Thanks for all the pics. I ended up taking off the bumper sometime in March. Now it's time to fix the door DENTS and paint it... Oh yeah and tires... btw - I love knowing how gas I have in the truck after replacing the fuel sending unit. Now, I just dream of filling it up... E |
