new rims for the old lady.
the before:
And now I like them, the rims are wider in the back which i hope will make my truck more fun to drive. Right know the rims are not ballanced (broken machine) hopefully i will get that fixed soon. Just thought id post some pics of my custom rally wheels that i did. Hense the darker gray center the black backing on the center cap and the very wide beauity rings.

Re: new rims for the old lady.
I just6 did the opposite of that, swapped out my ugly old stockers for some nice chrome ones, I think the ones I got were just like your old ones but I got center caps and chrome lugs and all for the new ones.

Re: new rims for the old lady.
yea i still got them but i think they were bent and old and rusty. Iv always like the old rally wheel on the cars and truck plus im thinking about a 2/3 drop i think. But that down the road still got to get it inspected and fully dependable.
Its my main vehical and i take car of it like its was my first born, never done that to a vehical before but this one i just kinda fell in love with and every day it scares me that some one is going to hurt the old truck.

Re: new rims for the old lady.
I love the rally wheel look!!! I know it's not 67-72 original but it looks great on this body style & your body style. And you still get the bowties.
Great choice, Good Look!!! |

Re: new rims for the old lady.
Yea I'm not a big fan on any factory wheel but the rally wheels posted above on the 67-72 truck I like thoose alot better then the ones we had on our 84, the ones above are like the ones on the 86 k10 we had. I also like the old vette rallys.
I know what you mean though on rust and being bent, The cheap chrome rusts quickly, have to stay on top of them with wax, like once a month or so. Both sets of rallys we had had issues, we think the ones we took off are bent, warped, or maybe just out of balance or tire belt broke. The set on the 86 were rusted badly in a few spots.
