I use a silver metallic boiler paint that is good to 3000 degrees. I use it on all mine and my customer restorations. The label off the gallon can is long gone, I have had the 1 gallon for years and done many manifolds and headers with it and have not had any blister off. Check with your local heating supplier, they should be able to order it for you. Mine was about 35.00 for the gallon about 15-16 years ago. Good luck Jerry
