My 1971 Blazer

Here is some pictures of my blazer just back from the paint booth and the transfer case that was just painted. Now it's off with the body so the frame can be painted and the underside of the body can be painted. It's a 71 4WD with a 4 speed and a 350.

Re: My 1971 Blazer

Welcome to the board! Great looking project. Gonna be beautiful. Keep in mind as your thinking about a bbc that they sometimes don't fit without some modifications. I thought I would be fine sliding my bbc into my 69 K20 after adding a 2" body lift - went to the body shop for paint without test fitting the motor. Went to put the body back on and had major firewall interference. Sometimes a bbc swap has minor problems, sometimes lots of clearance issues.

Very nice looking Blazer. It looks like you're doing a top-notch resto. Got any "before" pictures?

You got me there Asa

But as you know, & most here don't, we don't
use our family $ for my toys, hence the reason
mine is still not painted and may never ever be.
