Lemmer T55 Sprayer.
I Got a chance last week to use a Lemmer sprayer [HVLP] high volume low pressure system. The first thing you will notice is the lack of over spray. It is also very quiet as it uses a turbine rather then a compressor so therefore no chance of contamination caused by moisture because the air is warm or oil as there is no motor. It is also portible .... so if you want to start painting in the shop this is a very easy system for a beginner or someone who has painted before.
I'm going to look at purchasing one tomorrow .... I'm sold. esll. My 60 Vette body is my next project, I'll keep you posted. I repainted my 70' box before the installation of my bed floor. (With the Lemmer T-55.)

Re: Lemmer T55 Sprayer.
hvlp turbine systens have been round for a while. i had a tp showtime system sbout 5 years ago, and the idea of it was great until i tried to lay down a smooth coat. the fact that the air is heated can cause application problems with bad orange peel results, and over thinning causes other quality problems. the transfer rate is great because there is very little overspray but in louisiana with a heat index of sometimes 115 degrees, hot air, and paint, didn't work out to my advantage. i sold it to a guy who has an industrial painting company (he loves it), and bought a good devilbiss HVLP gun and a huge compressor that can flow enough scfm's to meet the guns demand. have'nt had any regrets since.

My buddy Wayne builds cars for a living and he turned me on to this [Lemmer Spray System.] He is doing a 32 ford at the present time but I thought I would send this picture along. This was done with a Lemmer T55 HVLP system. Looks pretty smooth to me. esll.

Hey John
Looks like a nice system, you will have the best equipped shop in town! Let me know when you are spraying the Vette, I would love to have a look. Also, we need to have lunch soon. Larry |

Re: Lemmer T55 Sprayer.
I bought my Lemmer spray system today. A buddy of mine found me a good deal on one so now I'm the owner of one as well. Same buddy that did the Willy's in the above post. These spray systems start at $550.00 and I ended up with mine and paid $250.00 and it was only used to spray one car.

Re: Lemmer T55 Sprayer.
This here is my buddy Waynes current project a 32 Ford. He did the Willys that I posted also. This car is being done as well with the Lemmer T55 spray system using black lacquer. This week he will complete the paint. The fuel tank in front of the grill was being fitted at the time that I took the pictures. The tank will house the battery.
