Got the jimmy/k5,what have you call a jimmy and blazer mixed together.Maybe a jazer or a bimmy,or maybe a blammy...I think I paid a little much but I bought my short 4wd with rusted out body and frame and no drivetrain for the same price..So,here's the $350 blimmy

Jamie,you might want to keep that black tub a little while longer,I might need it..

I'm planning to pick it up next Saturday.Now wont this week be the slowest ever?

I'm already starting to get parts rounded up for it I know it needs...As soon as I get new bushings in the front springs I have for it (6" lift) they are going on with a temporary 6" lift rear block till I get around to 6" lift rear springs.I also rounded up a stock chrome bumper to replace that chunk of steel on it now..I just hope the saved me some time by not cutting the frame horns off..

Yeah, over paid at $350

I've stripped one without the drive train and got about $800 for parts out of the $250 truck. I think you found a bargain. I know a guy selling one in about that same condition for $1000.00 (he claims there's a buyer

Anyway, looks like a good project, but don't forget those ones you already started.

That's a standard front bumper for Indiana, at least it's not treated lumber! (seen that before)

I've not forgotten them,I'm just waiting for them to get painted so no work till then so something has to keep me busy.I think I got a bargain too,I was just hoping to pay less

Actually it's Kentucky engineering..Hoosiers,or atleast ones down here dont use bumpers

I remember looking at that Jazer a couple of years ago. The owner ( In Ft Mitchell KY) was a board member and had 2. This one was way back in his yard and you had a rather narrow driveway to get back there. You may want to carefully assess what you have before you just tear into it as sometimes it's better to just salvage the good stuff then rebuild a beater. Trust me as I've learned the hard way--time and again and again and again and ~~~~~~!

Well,I was prepared to go get it this weekend...But guess what,the seller wont be home so hopefully next Friday I can get off early and run down there and get it in the Duramax,if not I'm planning for next saturday..So much for cruising in a blazer with no top,no windshield,and alot of rust this weekend
