New Wheels & Tires For My Project(s)
Yeah,I bit the bullet and went all out.I got the best available since they`ll be in use, like, forever. These should get the project(s) mobile.I figure it was worth the money in the long run since I have a need on two at the moment.............................................................................................
![]() I plan to bolt these to 4x6s and bolt the cab through the cab mounting holes.I decided on the biggest pneumatics since I may need to move cabs off pavement.I have a shed with a dirt floor, where I plan to store the cabs until I`m ready for them.I`ve got about $200 into them and I`m glad I made the move.I don`t have any help.I have a cab to move from my shop to my house. This way I can load/unload it myself.

And when the cab is done there are a number of other uses for them as well.

I actually did the same thing today. Mine aren't air up, but I won't be moving my cab out of my shop. They make things ALOT easier.

Re: New Wheels & Tires For My Project(s)
I hemmed and hawed for awhile whether to get these or solid rubber. But,I think I needed these so I can roll onto trailers and over ground at times.Solid wheels will last forever and these will lose air from time to time and may dry-rot after awhile.Hopefully they won`t if they see little sun either inside a shop or under a cab.I have a feeling these will stay with me to the end.
I`ll be posting pictures of what will eventually goe under my`67 GMC once I dig them out to move from my shop by Sept.I still have a cab, frame, and short Stepside in there and no help.I was going to set it all on the frame to trailer to my house, but neither are meant for that frame. It`s cab is already here and I have the Fleetside in pieces.I have alot of rearranging to do with limited space.I wish I had more time with bad weather not that far off and all my precious stuff setting out.I knew when I got my 60 days notice July 1st it meant alot of time and work for me for a good while.I have another place not far(another farm/not for sale)from me that may work out for the time being. That would be a dirt floor out building where I`d need the pneumatics as well.I have a whole truckload of shoplights to stash.I`m going to start another thread with pics on my move, just for kicks.
