Pics of my Pile...83 Silverado.
I've been working on this project lately. '83 Silverado SWB, fresh 350, th350 tranny, I believe 3.08 gears, power windows and locks. I put some 17" Centerlines on it for now, but it will have some TTII's on when I'm finished. I picked up this truck for $800. The motor was dropped in and never completed. The guys weren't able to get it started. Me and my brother in law had it running the first day we worked on it. It had a bad distributor and the fuel pump wasn't pumping because of a bolt that was too long...Now she's driving... Need some pretty work now...

Thanks! The red parts you see came from a truck at the local scrap yard. I was able to get the pass. door, windshield, tailgate, and the front bumper + little odds and ends for $140. After that I really started to love 73-87's.

It looks like you did extremely well on your parts too. It will be one nice ride when you are through. Be sure to post up some pics when you get those new Torque Thrust 2s on. Bet they'll look really good on it. I have seen them on a couple of 73-80s but not on a 81-87. ...Joe

Thanks. Those rims are just temporary to cruise it while I work on it. They are spoken for already. My step son has been working on a 63 which we are converting to 5-lug and I gave him those Centerlines for inspiration. Just got back from taking a couple of friends for a cruise in the 83.
