wrap a rag around a stick (make sure you can hold onto the corner of the rag) and sop up the liquid...then let it air dry for a day or so and all should be good. My Dad got some lawn mower gas from a guy that passed away and had an in-ground tank...obviuosly it leaked because I have gotten watered down gas 2-3 times and this method has worked for me.
