My 89 burb originally had the rear a/c. It was already disconnected and plugged off when I bought it...just last week, my serp belt shredded and jumped off the compressor, and sheared the clutch connections off
![]() So now for the question...where is it (orifice tube) located?? I don't see it anywhere...can someone tell me (or better yet) post some photos of where is is located on both systems (with and without rear a/c). I'm thinking that it was removed with the rear a/c connections...and if so, I'll need to add it back in to get my air working right (as it never seemed to get cold enough).... So...can anybody help me out? thanks

Re: Need Help...A/C Orifice Tube location with and w/o rear air??
orifice tube is located inside the line that hooks to the evaperator at the bottom of the box on the firewall.

Re: Need Help...A/C Orifice Tube location with and w/o rear air??
bagged74,
Is that for front a/c setup only? My line that from the condensor to the evaporator (lower line)...doesn't seem to have it in it?..I know that there should be a spot just after one of the connections and it should be easy to see....I can easlily identify it on my 91 Olds Wagon...
