vacume lines-what can i leave out and what do i need

gettin ready to finnaly put the 350 tbi/700r4 in my 87 c10. one big hang up im havin is what do i need to install for vaccume lines. i havnt been able to find any diagrams in the internet. the carbed 350 that is in the truck now was put in without vaccume lines being hooked up and nothing works correctly. so the question is what lines need hooking up and what ones can i leave out?

The ones you definitely need is trans servo (if the 700r4 has one), vacuum advance, and if your climate control is vacuum. Also the power brake booster is a tad important. Does it have an EGR Valve?

You really don't NEED the egr valve connected, but for emissions purposes...

That should be all. I've got an 82 and that's all I have connected on it...

Fuel vapor canister too. Optional but recommended.

Yeah, forgot about that since mine is disconnected. But a good idea to have it hooked up...

Cool Re: vacume lines-what can i leave out and what do i need

Here's what I used on my '80 K10.

One pic shows what i could take off. The other shows all I needed.

Hope this helps.
