T= Tonawanda, manufacturer of the engine
10= October, month of manufacture
18= October 18, day of manufacture
CTB= 402 or 396 used in 1972 cars, (Chevelles, Full size, and Camaro)

The cast date code will confirm my assumption or disprove it.
