72 Rear Differential Size
hey guys im just trying to figure out what size my diff is and what gear ratios were offerend in 1972 the truck came with a 350 and a turbo 400 factory and is a cheyenne 10 super if that helps. and what lockers would work with them?

2 wheel drive?
if so, a 12 bolt rear was the norm, and a 3.07 gear was standard with that eng/tranny combo. |

hey, yea its a 2wd sorry about that. would you know what size of diff? 8.5 or 9? thanks

The 12 bolt is 8 7/8"
