Front end comparisons
I know I've seen a picture that had all the 67-72 grills etc. compared to each other, does anyone have such a thing for 73-87 front ends?

Re: Front end comparisons
I have this one on my old geocities page for general comparison, and I have a color one somewhere on my main page, just can remember where I put it...

Re: Front end comparisons
Perfect, thanks guys!
It was easy enough to look on google for the different years, but it's nice to have something to compare them all in one go. |

Re: Front end comparisons
Not that it matters, but that chart does have one inacurracy that I noticed. The 2nd pic from the top on the left side shows 77-79 when it's actually 78-79. I guess that makes the one above it incorrect as well...

Re: Front end comparisons
Correct me if I'm wrong, 78 did not have the integral h/l t/s bezel, did it?

Re: Front end comparisons
the 78 is different from the 79. it should be 77-78. 79 has the bezel around the headlight and turn signal. i have a 79 but am gonna try to make it look like the 78.

Re: Front end comparisons
Correct - left half of truck #2 in the colored pic is indeed a '79 only - the '78 still has the headlight bezels like earlier years, however grille itself is the same as the '79 IIRC.
