Sold the 86 yesterday
I finally decided to sell my 86 and buy a leter model extended cab truck. I took it out to Pigeon Forge for the Grand rod run this weekend. A guy came up and we struck a deal yesterday afternoon. It's kind of bittersweet though. I like the old girl, it's just hard to go anywhere with the wife and two kids in a regular cab pickup.
The guy gave me a deposit to hold it till this next Saturday when he'll come back to pick it up and bring me the money. I'll at least get her cleaned up and waxed up for him. I'll also still hang around the 73-87 section and put in my .02 every now and then.

Re: Sold the 86 yesterday
I remember when i sold my 86 it was very bittersweet. I really couldnt keep the truck but it was a good truck and i had alot of happy memories and i had fun with it and made decent money with it ..I sold it to a woman who said she needed it for a cross country trip so her and her kids could get back home to texas after a bad marriage so i guess it went to a good home.. Now im looking for another older truck to use on my property upstate. Heres a shot of Leaky my 86 lol
