I'll see if I can resize them here shortly. It's nothing awsome, but not too awful shaby.

Re: Burb Int shots?

This comp is totally p!ssin me off. I've been tryin for a couple hrs now to resize the pics. This is why I haven't been posting any pictures for the last year or so... nothing new anyways. Every once in a while, i can get one to resize small enough to fit the 100 KB size, yet still be big enough to view... but the whole 642 max width... I go to that size, and the pic is still 300+ KB. has me so totally bent outta shape i am ready to kick this POS through the window and pee on it.
This is about how small it needs to be in order for me tpo be able to post it. Doin the same thing I've been doin for years, same program, just won't work right.
You can see, that for all practical purposes, that pic is not gonna do you any good.

I'm turning this thing off before I break something, stupid thing has locked up on me 4 times while trying to resize these photos.

Hey Andy,
Thanks for Trying on the Pic's, It's Really no Big Deal. Have you Got a Photo bucket Account? You can resize the Pic's when you upload to your account there if you Have one...............

It's Free, Rick

Nice to See it has 2 Spare Tire's in it, That might be Good Insurance considering the Distance you will be Travelling. Have you Figured out your Emergency Tool Kit Yet, Going to Try Taking Thing's with you or Ship out ??

Good Luck , Rick

Re: Burb Int shots?

I'll actually have 6 spares!
I haven't quite decided...I'm still thinkin of sending a box out there via DHL... but I'm kinda considering just getting some cheap POS tools... the kind you can leave at a road side rest and say Oh Well.

I would send the Box out, You would Have enough Time to Think about what to Ship & Would Probably have Better Tool's to work with if & when Needed.

If you wait till you get Out There to do it you will be of a Different Mindset & May Overlook Thing's that may be Needed, Beside that you would be Burning Daylight having to Take Care of that once you Get There.............

Just Food For Thought, Rick

Re: Burb Int shots?

LHM,

Two things you may already know about image resizing, but I'll throw out there for everyone:

#1 If you have XP get the XP Powertoy Resizer Works like a champ

#2 Be sure you are saving the image as a .jpg instead of a .bmp (change file type when using "save as")

Re: Burb Int shots?

need to look into #1... #2 I know about, and I played around with all the others to see if they'd work, but nothing did.
Thanks for the info and the link.

Re: Burb Int shots?

Something to consider, Longhorn...the *resolution* of the picture will affect the file size as much as the physical size...you can take virtually *any* picture at around 600x450 physical size @ 72dpi and get it well under 100kb...some programs you can also compress them when you save them...

Frizzle: never seen that before! I'll have it remember that the next time I get a similar question over on Yenko.net...I take it for granted that not everyone has a plethora of graphics programs! LOL!!

Re: Burb Int shots?

frizz, I was wondering about the second pic you posted of the int. shots. I have the same seats that I am putting in mine and am having a hard time creating enough room between the front and rear seats. Just wondering if you or who ever the burb belongs to have some tips.
