Burban A.C.
Hey guys, has anyone put an aftermarket REAR a.c. system (Vintage Air, etc.) in a 67-72 Burban???
I want to make it a family ride, but I need A.C. to keep my two girls cool in the hot OK summers. Any info is greatly appreciated. |

Re: Burban A.C.
As far as I remeber no one has seen one done yet I had looked in to using one from a newer burb but decided to do a few other things first so I havent tried it yet. I think your bestbet on this one is going to be call vintage air and ask if they can do something for you and then let us know wht they say.

Re: Burban A.C.
Yeah, I emailed their tech support and they said they don't have a specific rear air unit for 67-72 burbs, but a lot of their customers buy a universal unit to mount in the back for rear air. I'm just a remove and replace guy though, I'm not good at fab and custom work.
I've seen some pics on ebay of aftermarket units that look stock or better. |

Re: Burban A.C.
the after market ones probably look alot cleaner I had thought about just hiding a vent from the dash in to the center consol so the back would have air from it.
