My partial build thread

Back from blasting.....
 new floor pans to put in and new rockers  Fast forward a little bit.... disc brakes put on front, frame primered and blacked... And New Used TPI engine installed....!!!!!!

Bought an aftermarket crossmember for the tranny, and also new motor mounting brackets.....
  Also installed power steering Kit from REZ

Cab being undercoated at home in the garage....
 Engine ona pallet before installation...  Pic of the cab floor before new floor pan...

 insulated....  after the front clip is put back on...

I had to replace the front grill support, the old one was bent and bondo'd...
I also added a new main wiring harness, and a new upgraded engine harness from Chevy Thunder.... I have new Dolphin gauges on the inside, and the rest of the truck is now black primer..... I also have a B&M Megashifter to install, and the new fuel cell installed with the high flow fuel pump.... Chad

thats gonna be real nice. wish i had the $ to do a frame off and fix the rust on my truck but since i dont im just gonna emphasize on mechanical issues right now. i might fall through the floor in the process but hey, then i wont need brakes!!! Flintstones brakes!! lol that looks great and thanks for the pics.

The wiring is done on the engine, and I am about to finish the wiring on the dash...
Hopefully crank up here in a week or so...

well be sure and lemme know how that goes. hopefully it cranks right up but i know from experience we arent always that lucky. just a little tip, make sure the fuel line doesent leak by the engine. we missed it and it backfired through the carb and caught the whole damn thing on fire. could have been alot worse but we had a fire extinguisher handy. lookin good. im gonna go with a TPI setup. thanks for the links, those helped quite a bit.

This all has been over the last 2 years in the garage and I am ready to get her rolling!!!!! Hopefully the radiator comes in today, and then this weekend, I am going to crank it up.......
