question about a 63 chevy truck

i have a 2 1/2 ton chevy. is the cab the same as a half ton? is there any value is a truck like that. has a 327 small journal and a 2spd rear end. i hate to see it go the yard but i have no use or room to keep it.

Hope it doesn't go to the scrap yards. Surely someone will save it. If you were closer I'd try to get that motor off you if it was going to the crusher.

There are some differences in the '60-'63 and the '64-'66 cab and front clip sheet metal between the C10/C20/C30 trucks and the C60/C80 trucks, within the same years and they are not interchangeable. The hood, doors and cowl extensions are the same, however, the grille support, grille and front fenders are not. These photos may be helpful.
