Should sell complete or part out??

I just picked this truck up. It's a 1966 C10 LWB V8 manual. I was going to use some parts off of it. But I found a 1963 LWB in alot better condition. I was going to use the hood and door hinges and what ever else I need to complete my truck. The 66 was running a few months ago, but the guy I got it from says he thinks it has a fuel problem. The cab is in pretty good shape. It's alot better than mine (65).
Let me know if I should partout or sell as a whole
Alan

A long bed step side of 60-66 era is rare like the shortbed fleetside.

I say sell it like it is. It looks to be all there. I tried parting trucks before and it has never worked for me. That truck would make a good driver for some one.

Re: Should sell complete or part out??

Thanks for the input. I think I will try to sell for a while on this web site and locally. If I don't have any luck I will part out. Price as is $750. I do have a title.
Thanks

Clean it good. Sand and prime it. Sand and paint the grill and bumper white and you'll get much more money selling it whole.

Re: Should sell complete or part out??

Is the truck still available or has it been sold? I purchased this trucks twin October of last year and I am having some questions and problems with restoring it. This truck looks like a better help then any book or anyone can verbally help me with.

It does not run. The man I bought it from said it was running this summer. I doubt that since the gas smells really old. I haven't done anything to it. I was going to purge the old gas and see if I can get it running. I've been concentrating on getting my shop built. i should get my CO from the county tomorrow. I will sell but I am firm on the price.

Thanks

Re: Should sell complete or part out??

I'm very much interested in taking the truck off of your hands. The asking price is fine for what the truck looks like in the pictures. I just need to know how long I have to come up with a trailer to come and pick it up. If you prefer to email me, shawn@craftygrannysconer.com or you can call me preferrably after 9PM 610-905-2791. I work for a pizzeria and after 9 is our slow cleanup time.

Thank you very much

I have a guy that is supposed to come this weekend to get it, but don't hold your breath. He might be full of it. Try to locate you a trailer just in case. I will try to let you know something.
Thanks

I just sent you an email, and it was returned. I used the hyper link in your message.

Re: Should sell complete or part out??

I do apologize, that address must be having problems again. My other one is bratboyn3pos@enter.net. I've never had a problem with this one.
Thank you again
