Question Rally Wheel width?

Was it the same width for all the years it was offered on the C10? What was the largest width that was offered? What width came on the 1985?

Re: Rally Wheel width?

Most of our trucks came with 8x15 inch wheels.

Hey, welcome to the board!

Re: Rally Wheel width?

I wonder if 15x10's will fit, anyone tried them? Classic has them in a kit of four of the rims, riings, and centers.

One of my 79 has 7', my 79 parts truck has 8". Go figure.

10"-wide in the rear only, or all around? For the rear they should fit no problem, with the front I'd imagine it depends on the wheel's offset and the tire size you plan on using. if it were my truck I'd run 15x8 fronts and 15x10 rears, goes well with the muscle car looks these trucks can have with a bit of time and effort put in them.

They sell the a kit of 15x10"s, the back spacing is the same as stock 4.5. Or they sell a kit of 8 inch wide also with a 4.5 back spacing. Each kit contains the (4)Wheels,(4)Trim Rings, (4)Center Caps. I was suprised they don't sell a mixed set of 8" for the fronts and 10" for the rear. I'm just afraid the 10's will rub in the fenders when turning. Especially if the truck is lowered. I plan a 2.5 front and 4 rear.

Re: Rally Wheel width?

factory backspacing on all the truck rally wheels were 4", not 4.5. How much is it lowered will determine how wide/tall you can go, but a 10" wide tire will fit but it my rub occationally..

Re: Rally Wheel width?

What tire size came on 7's and what came on 8's ? I have a set with 235/70's on them. I believe they are 7's.
