Hey all. I just got back from the local scrapyard. I was informed that there was a mid 80's truck there in good condition so I went to look. It was an 84 GMC longbed 4x4 diesel. The body was 90% straight!! I walked out of there with the hood and both front fenders, in cherry condition for $85!!!

That's cool man!

That's less than what one of those aftermarket fenders cost, and you know that those salvage yard fenders will actually fit! Post up some pics when you can! Too bad it's not close to me, because I'd buy the cab if it was in really good shape! ...Joe
