like captain said, just depends on how much you can spend. some 327's come stock running 300 hp. raised compression, like a set of properly done 58cc heads, correct cam, intake and carb, and ignition you can pump out some serious numbers. i would definitely look into the edelbrock performance packages. easiest way to get power at a decent price. performer rpm top end kits are the way that i would go
