Re: my 71 bed sled
The 307 that I took out of my truck had 85 305 heads on it. It had a CRANE 274H cam in it. The cam had TOO much overlap. It had a wicked idle! It made nice POWER for it's size. Now I have a 383 in my truck. Can you say
T O R Q U E !!!!!! NICE looking truck!!!! I just LOVE Stepsides!!!!!!

Re: my 71 bed sled
Awesome truck!
I built a 307 years ago with 58cc 305 HO heads, a 350HP 327 L79 camshaft, Performer RPM intake, 600 DP. and set of Hooker 1.5"/1.65" Tork step headers for a friend's '68 Camaro, and that puppy would scream for what it was. He got some high 13's out of that car, and was mild enough to drive everyday.
