Someone have a 89-91 wireing diagram?

Hey all, I was at a junkyard yesturday and got a set of power mirrors off a loaded Suburban. I got the mirrors, mounting brackets, switch and wireing to the door only. The only bad thing is both mirror glass' are broken...... If anyone can tell me what the wires mean; power, ground, etc, etc. I'll check and make sure they work. I don't want them, so after I check them out, I'll offer them to any one on this site first. Then will go to Epay. Thanks, David

Re: Someone have a 89-91 wireing diagram?

If you can, try to get the rest of the harness. the main harness for the mirrors is incorporated in the harness with the power windows and door locks. so you'll have to disconnect the rear door harness's as well as the door lock harness for the rear barn doors which is located in the passengers side "B" pillar right near the rest of the connector for the P/S rear door. Also get the door lock relay located above the accelerator pedal. If you can get all of it together you WITHOUT CUTTING anything, you can get a better selling price. The glass can be replaced easily enough or you can even unbolt the heads from the mounts and swap them out with new ones from a "92 -'98 model with power mirrors.

Re: Someone have a 89-91 wireing diagram?

Thanks for posting that diagram.....But I'm still lost. I did cut the wires at the door to body grommet. I tried to go thru and pull just the harness out, but it took me too long to get the mounting brackets off the door. There is a special plate on the inside of both doors, that was glued on. That was a pain in the bu-- to get off! I had to go for the day, they were closeing. I see that the orange is power, and the black is ground. That's all I can figure out. I still have white, blue, yellow all with black stripes that don't know were they go. I may have to go back to the yard, but it's going to be in the 30's next week as highs. This sux...... David
