Motor mount help
I'm putting a power streering pump on my truck and need to convert from the front yoke type motor mount to side/frame mounts. I'd like to do this without pulling the engine. I've seen weld in "L" shaped motor mounts on hot rods that look like what I need. Does anybody know if this can be done and who sells the mounts?? Thanks.

Re: Motor mount help
Has anyone used the tublat crossmember that Rez sells to go to frame mounted mounts?

Re: Motor mount help
If you are going to stay with the old ram's horn exaust manifolds, you should be able to use 63-72 brackets and mounts. You can either drill the holes and bolt them in or weld them in if you don't want to pull the engine. Six or V8 mounts should work all the same, except for the RH mount for a 292 six. Hope that helps.

Re: Motor mount help
After searching around I decided to try the Rez tubular crossmember. After I get it installed I'll take some pictures and post them if anyone is interested. Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: Motor mount help
I bought the V8 crossmember from REZ but it just didn't work. We ended up cutting the mounting ears off of it and mounting them to the truck's crossmember. I guess its as good as any approach.
