Year Interchangabiltiy

I've got an 87 Suburban. I'm looking for some glass, seats and a few other things. What years are interchangeable for the common body and interior parts? For example, I see a 75 on its way to the scrapper. Would the side glas fit my 87? Thanks.

Re: Year Interchangabiltiy

You might want to do a lil research first. At one time I was told that the thickness of the glass differs from 73-80 and 81-87 (73-80 being thicker). I do not know this to be true 100%, but I would hate to see you spend all day taking out glass to find that it wont work. Kaysen

Thanks for the replies. I got busy and didn't get back to the forum. Anyhow, I'll have to research this in detail for some of these parts.
