Talking distributor

well i picked up my new HEI distributor from napa today only cost me 117.00 bucks for the distributor the wires the cap and rotor and module it came as a complete kit woo hoo no more points thank god now all i gotta do is get the thing put in and timed like want to be will keep posted as I go may not be more pics until warmer weather.

I had HEI in my 69. Sure was easier than points. The downside was trying to route the wires with the cap so close to the firewall.

Someone told me to use corvette plug wires with the HEI. It was wires from a mid to late 70's vette, but I don't remember what year. Hopefully someone will pipe in here. They were suppose to be a perfect fit with HEI.

Just remember not to use the same voltage wire that was hooked up to your coil. It has a resistor wire. You need a 12v supply from your fusebox.
