help, 4-core upgrade parts requirements

I have a practically brand new 4-core copper/brass radiator that I bought for my '77 454 that I now want to install into the '86 I have. The '86 is getting a 454 swapped in place of the stock 305.

I realized the rubber support pads were different, as well as the fan shroud, so I ordered those parts new from LMC. Now I just figured out the 2 upper mounting brackets that were on there originally do not work with the thicker radiator. I see LMC has an upper panel listed that appears specific to a 454 truck. Is this the last piece I need to order, or is there anything else I am missing????

Part I already oredered:
pads - item #10, p/n 32-0972, qty 4
shroud - item #3, p/n 32-2850, qty 1

Parts I still need:
panel - item #18, p/n 32-0988, qty 1
??????

Oh yeah, I intend to use the fan and clutch that came with the engine. It is a 2000 Vortec 7400. Any reason it would not work with this shroud?? The diameter appears okay. Not sure about the depth just yet.

What about a fan shroud? They are different too.

Part #18.
Order a zinc anode from www.summitracing.com.
The anode will help reduce corrosion.

Here is a picture.

Ken, I already got the fan shroud and support pads.

gchem, thanks for the confirmation. I will get the #18 panel ordered. Also, from your picture it looks like you put something between the panel and the core support. What is that?

I have repaced all the pieces with new on my 87 K30 also if you need pics or numbers. I got it all from GM but my discount helps that a little.

You need two upper rubber spacers. The spacers go between bracket and radiator. Two more spacers go on bottom too.
