Missed Deal and 6 lug rims question

I was at a public auto auction. I did a quick walk thru to see if there where any unfinished projects. They sell cheap at auctions. I didn't see any so I did not bother to register. I hung around to see what cars where going for. Some how I missed a 86 suburban. Body was rusted and damaged But the rims caught my eye. They where factory 6 lugs alumi mags. I walked over and looks in the inside and the seat had been replaced with a real nice one. Then they poped the hood and there on the Big block valve cover was a faded Target Master sticker. It was a replacement 454. Since the auction was mostly dealer very few where even looking at the truck. It sold for under $900 and me not registered! argggg

The question is would those 6 lugs fit my 68? In the future what years will fit? I was thinking some old school baby moons for my truck but I like some of the factory stuff too.

Yes, the wheels from that truck will fit your 68. I think those factory aluminum wheels are 15X7. That '86 is the last body style where the wheels will fit the old trucks without modification or spacers for incorrect offset.
