I just bought a set of cpp tubular trailing arms, the bend is back where the u bolts are. i just put a pretty big c notch in my 67 stepside and the stock trailing arms are hitting the frame about 12 inches in front of the rear, the tubular arms should be good for about 2 more inches of drop on my truck. besides the tubular arms are supposed to be alot stronger than stock.
