I think the only problem with the look of 69-72 side mouldings would be those that are used to seeing 67/68s as made.I`ve seen solid paint trucks and it takes a double-take to pick up on it.It`s when you go with the contrasting side panel when it starts looking "off",IMO.Do you already have your moulding or do you just prefer that design?Personally (what out,taste police
 ),I think GM got it right with the 67/68 side mouldings.They follow the bodyline compared to the newer style being a broken staight line.
