what gears were most common in 72 camper specials.btw its a 1/2 ton

You have a 1/2 ton Custom Camper? Most small V8 autos got 3.07 gears in 72 I believe. Same with big blocks in 1/2 tons. Big block in 3/4 ton got 3.54. Most 6 cylinders got 3.73. Any optional gear ratio should be on the glove box option sheet.

Just pop the cover off, count the teeth, and refill with new oil. It needs it anyways.
