Where can I get some 15 or 16 inch steal wheels with caps and a set of those fat white wall tires?

The theme for my truck is Rat (obviously) and old school, and the twenties aren't too........ratty

I appreciate any info!

Fat white walls are available thru Coker.They should turn up in a search.try vintage tires.Or try this

You need to phrase your threads so that people know you are looking for dealers, because this sounds like a WTB which is only allowed on the parts boards. If it crosses the line it's gonna get locked.

You lost me here....it IS a WTB (eventualy) but for now I would like to do a little research. However, If I make a post "Dealer Wanted", that is very misleading since I'm not looking to buy in volume or looking for cost on products.

Where I am lost.....

Houp, when you want to buy,the BB has a parts section and you "should" be able to search it.In order to sell or ask a "what's it worth" thread you need to be a subscriber to the board.The BB is set up to have memberships thru subscription to help support the costs of maintaining the BB.The originator of the BB spent his own hard earned $$ to support and get it going.many of the members thought the info was well worth the price of a sub so they started hby donating a little here and there.In order to afford the bandwidth 30,000+ members use and to buy upgraded software and server space and whatever else it takes to keep things going a sub system was put in place.In order to make subscribing worthwhile to the members,it needed soem perks.The for sale and some other areas provide this.
By the way;all of the staff here volunteer their time to help with keeping it a nice helpful family oriented place to visit.
Most of the rules set for the board are very fair and designed to help it maintain itself.The complete list is in the user agreement.
No one is trying to get onto you just making suggestions to help you understand the rules and enjoy your time here.

The point is simple:
You have to be a subscriber to post a legitimate WTB from the membership. If you are asking for sources (vendors/retailers) then that is fine.
"Dealer Wanted" does not imply that you are looking for volume.

A- Because you are not supposed to be posting WTBs from the members
B-The line is WTB, asking for or even about vendors id fine.

The problem is that many times somone will "offer" to sell something even on those posts. That is a "For Sale" ....also against the rules for non-subs.

And again....."I'm new" does not mean that you don't need to follow the rules like everyong else. It is everyone's responsibility to know the rules.
Please don't take this wrong, it is nothing personal. The more things like this are "let slide" the more it becomes acceptable. Also, it starts people griping about "why did this one slide...and mine didn't"
