headers on 67 w/4spd man.
New to site, so hi everybody, couldn't wait till I was approved, this site is great. I'm in the process of installing a gm sb350 crate engine in my 67 2wd and I want to get new headers. I was looking at a set of stainless steel ones on ebay. My question is has anybody used these headers and will they work on a 4spd man. tranny. The tranny is out of a camaro. The bellhousing and linkage will all be from the 67. Here is a pic or link of the headers. Thanks for any help.

It seems as long as the rear tube comes forward slightly it should clear the bell crank (z-bar).I know that Doug`s Tri-Ys will work.A guy did it on a`68 and he just had to move the bracket back about 1/2" ON THE FRAME.

I would stay away from thoes because of there thin 1/4 inch flange, get yourself a set of hooker comps. Those might be the crappy 409 stainless that rust like regular steel also

Ended up getting obxR racing headers, the have better flanges 1/2" CNC machined. T-304 SS

I bought a set of those a while back, but haven't put them on yet, so I'm not sure about fit, but they look real nice sitting in the bed of my truck!

get yourself a good set of gaskets I have copper ones and they leaked for about the first 10 min's but then they sealed up and then later on I re-torqed them another board member told me just the plain jain manifold gaskets work good but I havent tried them yet
