rims
What would be a good offset on a 15x10 rim for my 71 4x4 1/2 ton. I really dont want them to stick out too much.
Thanks |

I have 4.25" backspacing with my 15x10 American Racing white wagon wheels. They stick out about 2". I don't know if you'll be able to get any more backspacing than that. What size tire you going to run?

I have 3.5" on my 15x10, but wish that I had gone to 4". The 3.5" on my 15x8 with 33 14.5 MT Bajas rubbed on boht Depending on the drag link and front leaf spring at lock. 35 14.5 on the 10" rim did not. I have 35 12.5 BFG now, and they rub on the lower part of the front fender on the passengers side, but that fender was damaged and incorrectly repaired. The BFG is quite a bit taller than the MT were, but both listed at 35". You might get away with 4 1/2" bs, but I would want to borrow a wheel and test it before spending my $.
