Redoing dash later
Was wondering if this clock would look ok. Trying to get a parts list together.
I just threw this together to get an idea.

Why would you buy a clock with different style numbers when you can buy an Autometer clock that costs less and matches the rest of the gauges? Summit sells the clocks

That is my other option but I'm not sure now since I found the 3 3/8 one.
I would but I'm afraid I'll screw up the clock or get the wrong shade of orange. I have never opened up a gauge and would hate to practice on a $100 one.

Autometer does not sell clocks or any other gauges that are 3 3/8 besides the speedo and tach

I think if you could open it up w/out too much trouble, all you'd have to do is lay tape over the gauge with the ponters sticking just above the tape and just hose it down or brush it on and you'd be good to go. Very simple as long as you can open it up easily. Try doing a search using 'testors' or 'gauge painting' or similar and you'll find the correct color.
