Re: spid - anything special?
Looks to be a fairly typical shortbed example. The Silverado package isn't rare, but certainly a plus.

Re: spid - anything special?
maybe not "rare" but still cool it has a locking diff, but the 2.73 ratio kinda sucks.

That "locking" differntial is a "Gov-Loc", that's no prize.

Re: spid - anything special?
You're right... I think I saw the 2.73 gears and assumed "shortbed". Most short-wheelbase C10's I've come across sported this gear but I guess it was wrong to assume.

Re: spid - anything special?
2.73 rear end gears means good highway mileage.

Re: spid - anything special?
The gov lock isn't bad for a stock motor, a 305 at that. If anything it stops the "bald right rear tire" syndrome.
Glide out spare tire carrier is nice too. Never used one but I assume it's a little more user friendly than the standard one. Last edited by Pyrotechnic; 03-30-2008 at 05:37 AM. |

Re: spid - anything special?
yep in australia - but the truck came to oz last year, it came from pensilvannia and has very little rust for a pa truck. so its still LH drive and i dont have to convert it to RH drive to get it licenced.
