Hood Latch Bolt?
Alert! NOOB question here! LOL
My hood opens and closes just fine, but after I close it, I can lift the front up a few inches. Is it the hood latch bolt that is supposed to keep the hood down? Is mine adjusted wrong? Just wanted to ask before I go break something trying to get the nut on it to budge!

Re: Hood Latch Bolt?
Yes, that spear-shaped dooey-bob that's attached to the hood is threaded and can be adjusted in to take up that slack. Also- make sure you have the two round "bumpers" on either side of the core support- they are adjustable too!

Re: Hood Latch Bolt?
Ya I have the two outside bumpers. I figured that's what that doohickey was for. It's all rusted and I can't get that nut to turn for anything. Been soaking it in PB Blaster all day, so hopefully tomorrow I can crack it loose!
