694x4, I wish you lived closer too! I'm not at all against converting to auto, I just wasn't planning on doing it so soon. Much more work to convert that I was planning on tackling at this time.
Mudder, I sent you a PM.

Thanks French, I don't know John but I know who he is, I will give him a call. I have also talked with Tree in the past by phone. I'll do some checking around and see what I can dig up.
Thanks again Pont

If you went with a ratchet shifter you would not have to get all the linkage stuff. I may have a set of peddals if you want me to look. I would have the linkage also for a 2wd 69 but that will be awhile before i do the body swap.

Anything you look at, remember that the adapter is the hardest part to find. Around here a 205 with any type of tranny is pretty hard to find. I personaly would go with the SM465/205 setup if you can find one.
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/index.php? Lots of people on this site sell stuff like you are looking for, so you might give it a try.

it is not hard at all to convert to auto,,the best shifter advice ill give you is either a hurst quarter stick or a b&m pro stick,,they are the same desighn and great for the money..as long as you make up a check list and get youre stuff ready before you go it should take no time at all,we just tonight dropped a sm4465 and 205 out of an 86 chevy and put in a th350 and a 205 ,,from the time we pulled it on the rack to the time we were test driving it was a hair over 3 hours,,and that was just me and my brother doin it,,good luck,,the biggest thing youll run into is drive shaft lengthining or shortening,,you ma get luckt abd wont have to do either,,,we didnt,,,well again good luck
