Np205
I haven't been on this site for very long but you guys seem to have answers for everything. So here goes!
I have a 79K10 Scottsdale that I need to rebulid the transfer case for. It's an NP205 behind aTH350. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for places online that offered parts, instructions, or other info. I did a search on google and came up with nada. I figure that this is something i can do and would like to save the money it would cost to have it rebuilt or buy new. Any info is appreciated and thanks for the great board!

transfer
If you decide not to rebuild, you could probably pick one up(used) for about $200-$250. Just a thought.

Rebuild
I'm finishing up the rebuild of my NP 205. Thanks to the pages from Yukon, and parts from National Drivetrain. Oh, I hope you don't need an adaptor for your 350TH to Np205. I had oil leaking from my NP 205, so I pulled it expecting only to spend $125 on new berring and seal kit. The adaptor was severely cracked around the berring on T-case side. I tried to repair it, but the crack got worse as I heated the cast iron to accept welding. A new unit was located a a chevy dealer for $345 . I should have everything back together by the end of the weekend.

THanks for the suggestions everybody. now i know i have to rebuild it because i lost forward gears in it today. it will move in reverse but i had to have it towed the 20 miles back to the house. i figured that was a little far to drive in reverse through town.

Ummm, the transfer case doesn't have fwd and rev. It is either in gear or not. It sounds like you have a problem with your TH350.

the np205 is one of the most bulletproof TCs u can get with its all gear design. You should be able to get a rebuild kit at most part stores, not saying it'll be on shelf.I worked in parts for alittle and anybody that sells Federle-Mogule/BCA bearing will list kits in the catalog.
