My friend made a soda blaster for us to use. The blast gun is made for sand blasting but works well for soda blasting. It was pretty cheap to make up as he just attached a hose nipple for the hose to the Cat Litter bucket.
We have not had any paint issues with soda blasted parts. A good cleaning removes all traces of the soda prior to painting. Jim
