When I was a (dumb) kid I tried the old drill motor trick on the advice of another kid.Took ages and from then on the speedo wouldn't read right.

Reminds me of the time we rented a staked flatbed and drove it in reverse for the entire,long,job just because that was the most efficient way to have a crew clearing fire trails,pitching into the truck following behind them,in reverse. The guy at the rental place was convinced we were trying to rip him off,and I guess we did although not intentionally.
